Clubs
At Station Camp Middle School, we want our students to excel in and out of the classroom. We offer a variety of after-school clubs and organizations to our students. Offerings are subject to student demand and faculty sponsorship.

7th Grade Beta Club
Sponsors - Mrs. Carter and Ms. Clark
Applications are now available. All applications are due by Monday, August 16. No late applications will be accepted. We will be using Google Classroom to communicate with the students. The join code is hkgmcw6. Please be sure you are logged in with your @sumnerk12.net account.
6th Grade Beta Club

Book Club

Chess Club
Sponsor: Mr. Raines
Chess Club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Chess Club will meet every Tuesday after school until 3:45 beginning October 19th. Players of any skill level are welcome to attend. We can even teach you how to play if you want to learn. If you are interested, please see Mr. Raines in the STEM room for a permission form.
Classic Cinema Club
Sponsor: Ryan Voss
Meeting Time: First and Third Monday of every month (every Monday if members vote for it) from 2:40 - 3:30 in Room 402. Rides MUST be here at 3:30.
Open to all SCMS students. We will watch classic movies (action, adventure, monsters), rated G-PG; these films will be the ones that influenced today’s big hits. Ex: Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz, King Kong vs. Godzilla, the Seventh Voyage of Sinbad.
Are you a fan of movies? Movies about adventure? Frankenstein's Monster? Godzilla? Fairy tales? If so, we have the club for you!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Huddles (meetings) are Tuesday mornings at 7 AM on the stage in the gym. FCA is open to everyone, you do not have to be an athlete to join. First meeting is Aug. 10 at 7 AM. Look for our sign in the gym to know where to go. If you come after 7, feel free to come on in. We know not everyone can be here at 7.
Girls' STEM Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Bagwell
Meeting Time: Check back soon for more information. The first meeting will be in September and will be announced.
Activities:
Once a month, participants will be engaging in activities involving Biology, Coding/Programming, Engineering, Making/DIY, technology, and other areas of STEM. Girls will also mentor girls at partnered elementary schools by creating and participating in activities to promote STEM.

Kindness Club - Mrs. Joley and Mrs. Adams
As part of The Kindness Club, students will work to promote understanding and appreciation of other students’ unique backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and personalities. Club members will create school-wide campaigns which encourage showing empathy and becoming advocates for each other, as well as supporting physically and mentally healthy life choices. National Junior Honor Society

This club is for 8th-grade students who have achieved a 3.5 GPA and have the character requirements. Members for the 2020-2021 school year have already been selected and inducted.
Photography Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Dismukes and Mrs. West
The Photography Club is open to all grades and is for anyone interested in learning more about the craft of Photography. The frequency will be once a month on Thursdays from 2:45 to 3:45. I'm looking at our first meeting being held on Thursday, August, 26th.
Student Council
Sponsor: Mrs. Garner
Student Council is a student-based civic organization designed to help promote school spirit and leadership among students. Students may join student council at any time. Contact Mrs. Garner for information on how to join.
