Book Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Parker

Book Club is for everyone who enjoys reading or someone who would like to enjoy reading more. Sometimes we all read the same book and sometimes we don't. The main purpose of this club is to celebrate all the great books that are out there and read as many as we can. We will be making book review videos, writing book reviews for the school newspaper and our school Instagram page, and for the SCMS library website. Book Club members help Mrs. Parker promote the love of books at SCMS. We also attend the SEYA Book Festival in Murfreesboro in March and other author appearances in our area.
Book Club will meet after school from 2:40pm until 3:40pm each week on Wednesdays. There will be two clubs this year one for 6th graders and one for 7th & 8th graders. 6th graders will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month and 7th & 8th graders will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.
